Eh, politics.

I'm glad the elections are finally over. Like I mentioned previously, I have my own set of issues that concern me and went for the guy whose thoughts on the subjects most closely resembled mine. Unless you have plenty of time on your hands, I don't think you can really know politics - it all boils down to people doing things to either benefit themselves or the people they represent or a combination of the two and you don't really know what the outcome is going to be. Let's say for moment that I understand politics. Did that change anything? Oh, looks like that seafood promotion amendment I voted for went through. Yay for me, I like seafood.

Had lunch with Kay today at Cracker Barrel where we had a good time crackin' jokes and making fun of each other. Saw Eli on the way back to the office. Stayed busy all afternoon. After work, Lesa wanted to go sit and talk about some work stuff so we rolled over to Cafe 113 for a drink and appetizer. FROZE MY BUTT OFF IN THERE. Went home afterwards to thaw out. Reheated my leftovers from Red Lobster yesterday and had that for dinner. Gave what I couldn't finish to Kelsey who was very appreciative of the treat. Worked on that new song for church this Sunday. Not too sure I can play that spot-on in such a short time. I'll do my best though.

Time for bed.

Ha, I voted for the seafood-related amendment, too. Put a keyword like seafood, beach, or militia in there, and I'm all in.
