Humans 1, Turkeys 0

Thanksgiving day was largely uneventful for me until later on in the evening. Played on the drums a little, watched some TV... basically slipped into neutral for the most part. I joined the Burns for "The" meal. Kevin and Stacey put together a delicious meal - thanks for letting me be a part of that. In the process I got to use an electric knife to carve the turkey. K, I'm gonna have to get one of those.

After dinner, we watched a Friend's episode (the one with the backpacking story) then popped in the latest Harry Potter. I had seen it in the theater already but they hadn't. It was a good bit darker than the previous movies but enjoyable. Got a call from Lesa that they were pulling up to the party she had invited me to. There were a LOT of people over there! Met several interesting characters as well. Shot some pool, drank some Corona, observed the bra hanging from the light fixture...

Partygoer 1: "Looks like a Bali (bra)"
Partygoer 2: "I think it's Vanity Fair"
PG1: "Oooo... it IS Vanity Fair, very good. NOW, is it an outlet one?"
PG2: "How can you tell?"

I was watching all this unfold right in front of me. I was pretty amused as you can imagine. Oh, met a girl from Madison named Stephanie. She was there with 2 of her sisters. Her parents live in New Zealand. We talked about that for a bit then about Madison. She had just moved there a few months ago. Probably going to go out and do something with her soon.
