Not a whole lot to report from today. Kay, who shares an office with me for now, is realizing that I'm not all that talkative the first few minutes of the day. All I want is peace and quiet to get my technology up and running and some solitude as review my planner notes to get my day in order. That's all I want.
Met up with the crew for the Guad. I'm sticking with my Corona's now instead of margaritas as again, I like to get other things accomplished during the remainder of the evening instead of just draggin around feeling lethargic. I needed to pick up another pair of "nice" khaki dress pants so I visited "L" over at Parisian. She hooked me up with some that were on sale plus slapped an additional 15% off for good measure. Then she told me she needed a new job that paid more. I asked her two questions:
1) Can you dance?
2) Are you allergic to brass?
If you had been there, it was a lot funnier than what you would think. Strolled on down to Sears and looked at TV's (Dave's fault for getting me interested in them) then over to the T-Mobile shop to stop and talk to Erica. That wrapped up the social activity.
Spent time at home filing receipts and boxing up some of my old Cisco books that were cluttering my office. I still have more to put in storage or throw away but I'll continue to chip away at it daily. I'm going to consciously try to stay off my computer when I'm at home as much as I can because I seem to just waste a lot of time on there not actually doing anything when I COULD be getting things accomplished around the house.
Hmmm... I need more bath towels. That was a random thought for sure. I need to add that to my shopping list. While on the shopping topic, can you believe it's almost Christmas again!?! Suprisingly, I like this time of the year even as a single guy. Some singles get all bummed out around this time but thankfully for me, it's no big deal. Wouldn't turn down an opportunity to NOT be single if the right woman came along though. Oh, I got off topic. I need to go towel shopping.
These random thought changes are Scott's fault. SEE??? Aqua Teen Force has struck again.
