Gray day.

It's a gray day outside today. A bit blah if you ask me. It's definitely better than the monsoon conditions we had last night though. It was a fun day at the office as I spent most of the day shooting video for a client's website. For a few shots, I needed a subject who was CLEARLY a teenager - luckily, Jordan was available and stepped up to the plate. Ended up doing 3 shots with her in addition to the dozen or so other ones. Kyle's going to do the cutting and resizing for us. Very cool.

Band practice was good. Pam was back on the mic again just like old times. Jack S. joined us on stage and did a good job with his parts. The new songs were a little rough around the edges but hopefully our pattern of sucking at practice then shining on Sunday will hold true. Afterwards we all went to O'Charleys for dinner and drinks. Suprisingly, my food was good. Wrapped things up at home and settled into bed a little earlier than usual.

Made our plans to go to Nashville this Saturday - good crowd, Eric, Kevin, Jack and I will be heading out then meeting Scott and Kyle up there. I expect we'll have a great time.

On a more serious note, been reading my friends blogs like I always do. The majority of them have kind of a depressing tone to them. I sure hope everything turns the corner and folks lighten up. It would suck to carry that feeling into the holidays. Can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving already. Sheesh.
