Hooters.

On the way to the concert last night, we got caught in a torrential downpour. Also saw some ambulances heading in the oppposite direction. Come to find out the next day that there was a small plane crash a mile or so from the airport. Anyway, it was a Hooters night. I had some oh so good Fosters on tap along with my buffalo shrimp. Food was suprisingly good. It's been YEARS since I've been to this place. The last time I was there, the wait staff wasn't much to look at. Looks like they kicked the hiring criteria up several notches. Either that or the hiring manager got some much needed eyeglasses. Our waitress was particularly excited about just having turned 21 recently. She wasn't too rough on the retinas so it was pleasant talking to her.

Finally made it to the concert but it wasn't late enough to avoid the opening bands. Just like in Atlanta, they sounded like... poo. Alter Bridge finally took the stage and I started enjoying myself. The show was rockin! I especially dug the Led Zepplin moment when they busted out and did Zep's Rock n' Roll. It was a good time. Ran into Kusi and his woman there too. The only thing that really sucked was standing for over 2 hours. Got home and immediately went to bed.

Work today was BUSY. Had that site launch today - have over 1000 people sign up for the alert system JUST today! It's a good start. A lot of work went into it so I hope it's a success for the client. Luke joined me for lunch at Kyoto where much sushi was consumed. He was freaking over the amount of wasabi I used but hey, that's just me. Back to the office to wrap things up in the afternoon then me, Lesa, Kay and Luke hit up cafe' 113 for drinks and appetizers.

Now I'm home. I think I'll bust out some of my pots and pans and cook up something good to eat.
