Another week older...

Down here in the deep south, we have a problem whenever it comes to winter precipitation. Pretty much anything can screw things up down here:

talk ABOUT snow
accumulations of 1/8" inch of whatever
sleet
somone pouring a Sonic slushy in the street

Apparently, we're under some sort of winter weather advisory or some nonsense like that tonight and tomorrow morning. After seeing the pictures earlier in the week from Rick, what the weather people issue an advisory for down here is ludicrous.

Today was a laid-back sort of day. Met up with Kevin and his kid for sushi at Kyoto. Food was excellent as it always has been but the service is still lacking. The girls there are S L O W. I really hope they kick it into gear as people that were coming in were having to stand around for uncomfotably long times until someone eventually greeted them. Not good.

Wrapped up the day and came on home. Not too much going on tonight so I changed into some sweats and hung around the house. It's nice to have peace and quiet. I savor the tranquility more and more especially after hearing about the stories my friends tell me about their kids/neighbors/family dramas.
