It's the weekend!

Today was a day of highs and lows. The low was sending off a significant check to the U.S. Treasury. Once that was done, everything else seemed much better. The weather today was awesome! So much so that we all left the office early to get a head start on enjoying it. I was tired though and took the opportunity to go home and nap for awhile before I did anything else. I got up in time to rush over to a spot to take some evening photos. I got a couple of good ones but nothing I'm completely thrilled with.

When I got done there, I met up with Kyle and Jeff over at Cracker Barrel to eat. Watched Napoleon Dynamite again afterwards then parted ways. I spent some time looking over some new prints I received. Things are looking good! There's still a lot of room for improvement though so I'll continue to push on.

Sigh. Looks like the shoot that was getting set up for tomorrow fell through. I'll go with my backup plan at the botanical garden then.

In other news, there's a strong possibility I'll be travelling to California to do some photography at a client's location there. I'll definitely take time to visit the vineyards and wineries in the area if I go. There should be some spectacular shot opportunities.
