Friday, at last!

Last night, band practice went well. I especially liked how E managed to integrate the really cool bass line from another song into one of the worship songs. That's gonna be smokin on Sunday for sure. Afterwards, we ate dinner at O'Charley's. YUP, it's time to take them off the dinner rotation again as the food SUCKED. My soup was too salty and my prime rib was well, just weird.

Busy day at the office for a Friday. Meeting, calls, lunch meetings, afternoon meetings - it's as if I spent my whole day just meeting. In the evening though, I got out and enjoyed a performance of the Alabama Symphony. They were playing at the Princess Theater here in town. I'll tell you what, nothing beats some good classical music sometimes to clean out your mind and ears. I don't listen to classical very much in my everyday life but tonight reminded me that there's some good stuff out there. A long time ago I used to play the viola. My how time passes.
