Bow chika bow bow...

Got a lot done at work today. Was in Huntsville briefly for a meeting then took the time to meet up with Bernie at Atlanta Bread Co. just like "the old days". Had to take the obligatory stroll through CompUSA where I picked up Spiderman 2 and a bunch of blank DVD's. Wrapped things up back at the office then met up with Ellen at the tuxedo place to pick my threads out for the gala next week. The basic tux was a little too generic so we kicked it up a notch (okay, several notches) to put a modern twist on things. After that, had dinner at the Guad. We parted ways and I headed to Emiron to catch the Fender thingy going on tonight. When I got there, Eric & Co. and Kyle and his roomies were already seated. I thought I recognized the bass player (Roscoe Beck - Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Dixie Chicks) then it was confirmed to me where I had seen him... on the G3 DVD playing bass for Eric Johnson. Along with Roscoe was Greg Koch, an excellent guitarist and funny guy I might add. "I started playing when I was 12, then puberty hit and I had to rock!" Drumming for the duo was John Calarco who did a terrific job playing a variety of styles. I dug his brush work too.

Of course I had my camera... ;-)
